McGowan Program Administrators Community Association Division provides industry-leading community association insurance solutions, uniquely tailored for Directors & Officers, Fidelity/Crime, Umbrella, Property & General Liability and Community Manager Errors & Omissions.
This product covers condominium associations, cooperatives, town home associations and single-family homeowners associations. This includes special features and coverages for blanket building coverage on a per-location basis, ordinance and law, equipment breakdown, loss of income and extra expense, flood and quake, medical payments and many more.
This product covers a wide range of eligible classes, including, but not limited to community associations, common interest developments, cooperatives, condo hotels, planned unit developments, homeowners associations, timeshares and many more.
The D&O product provides protections against defense and indemnity of both monetary and non-monetary claims, as well as breach of third-party contract or discrimination claims, failure to maintain or obtain insurance claims. Developers on the board or controlled boards also qualify for these coverages. The insured parties include directors, officers, entity, property manager, volunteers, committee members, employees and leased employees.
The eligible classes covered by McGowan’s umbrella program include condominium associations, cooperatives, homeowners associations, master associations, planned unit developments, property owners associations and town home associations. This program has available follow form coverages for directors and officers, including employment practices liability, as well as automobile and employers liability.
In addition, the umbrella program has special features and coverages for defense costs outside the limits, individual policies and policy numbers for each insured unit or person, no exclusions for real estate managers and aggregated per location coverage.
McGowan’s Community Association Division crime program offers coverages for employee or property manager theft and dishonesty, on-premise or in-transit crimes, forgery, computer fraud and funds transfer fraud. Eligible classes include commercial condominiums, condo hotels, condo associations, cooperatives, HOAs, master planned associations, PUDs, property owners associations, timeshare associations and town home associations.
